Hearts for Health Capital Campaign
Located in the Northeast Oregon’s scenic Wallowa County is the Hearts for Health Integrated Care Center. This center is a partnership between Winding Waters Community Health Clinic and Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness. These two clinics have been leaders in bringing together key parts of Wallowa County’s health care delivery system to increase coordination, improve access and eliminate disparity. They truly believe that the integration of primary care and mental health into whole-person health services, is the future of healthcare.
Westby Associates, Inc. began working with Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness in November 2016 conducting a Mission-Vision workshop followed by a feasibility study. In March 2020, the two clinics joined together to create the Hearts for Health LLC.
Over the five years of our work together, including four “Hearts for Health” fundraising events, we raised over $6.4M from a variety of sources from public funding, foundation grants, and community giving.
Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness and Winding Waters Clinic celebrated the opening of the 18,932 square foot Hearts for Health Integrated Care Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony held on September 10, 2021.
