BIO: Taylor Rost joined Westby Associates in August 2019 as Executive Administrative Assistant. Now, as Project Analyst, her experience in project coordination, attention to detail, and organization skills combine with her energetic ambition, which support our client and internal needs. Taylor is motivated by a strong desire to help others and to be a positive influence both in her community and on a global scale. She values finishing what you start and loves driving projects through to completion with creativity and purpose.
Taylor readily volunteers her skills to serve others. She attributes her passion to serve, work ethic and love of nature to her Montana upbringing. With a desire to give back to her community, Taylor took the initiative to plan and lead a project to fight childhood hunger in her town and state. She also pushed beyond geographical boundaries, pursuing opportunities abroad. With a desire to further address issues of poverty, Taylor became involved with work in education and access to healthcare in the Middle East and Central America. She worked with Missoula Medical Aid, using her Spanish abilities and excellent organizational skills to serve as Interpreter and Co-Team Leader for medical brigades to Honduras.
Before joining the team at Westby Associates, Taylor developed her event expertise as Assistant Event Manager at the Adams Center in Missoula, MT, where she helped manage meetings, conferences, trade shows, live theater and concerts. These headliners included Pearl Jam, Harlem Globetrotters, Elton John, Wizard of Oz Live, to name a few. From goals and timelines, to event sponsorships and merchandise sales, creative problem-solving and event management, Taylor is well-equipped to support event development and to see them through to success.
She graduated from the University of Montana with degrees in International Relations and Spanish and studied at University of Granada, Spain. Away from the office, Taylor is seeking a new adventure—a backpacking trip or world travels! She also enjoys a good book and spending time with friends, family, and the animals: pups, Kona and Daisy, and sugar glider, Pip.
