  2. What draws you to nonprofit work? I was raised with the understanding that giving back to your community was a privilege as well as an obligation.
  3. What was the last piece of art (book, music, movie, etc) that moved you, and why? The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon
  4. What was your first job, and what lesson did you take from it that you still use today? Brown Bear Car Wash. I learned that no matter what the customer says, you cannot fit a square peg into a round hole!
  5. To be successful, what’s the most important skill a professional should develop? Communication
  6. Who makes you laugh the hardest? My Husband, Kim.
  7. What was the worst purchase you’ve ever made? Stock
  8. Dogs or cats? I grew up in a household of many pets. I lean towards dogs though.

  16. What inspires you to do your best work? My clients and their commitment to the work they do.
  17. How do you restore your energy when you’re feeling worn down or burnt out? By working out, any outdoor activity, or spending time with my amazing family and dog.
